Waiting On God Without Tapping Your Foot
From Jen in the My Latest Revelation Forum:
Psalm 62:1
“My soul waits in silence for God only;
From Him is my salvation.”
When you wait on God, you’re not doing “nothing”…your doing something, your doing the best thing…
Before we act, because of what someone says or because you just feel you should be doing more, we need to stop and wait on futher instruction from GOD himself. We also have to learn how to listen to God so we can act when He tells us too.
Isaiah 64:4
“For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear,
Nor has the eye seen a God besides You,
Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.”
When your waiting on God, it might make you want to move, but if you move before God wants you to, You could get into trouble.
It’s very hard to wait…but waiting will cause you to draw closer to God and His Word.
God is on your side and is fighting for you, so because you know that, you know you can be silent and wait; you know He will protect you, and carry you through hard times.
Wait! Trust in God…The power belongs to God…God is your refuge…God is your stronghold…God is Hope…Trust God in all times and HE WILL ACT IN YOUR BEHALF! (”…Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.”)
If you learn to Wait and Trust God, you will walk in the center of God’s will, you will fulfill God’s purpose, and you will not be Shaken! (Psalm 62:6″He is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I shall not be shaken”)
…BECAUSE GOD HAS PROMISED TO TAKE CARE OF US!
Psalm 95:7
“…for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care…”
Thank You Jesus!
